This past Christmas, when 3-year-old Isaiah was asked by a mall Santa Claus, "What do you want for Christmas?" his enthusiastic answer perplexed St. Nick: a Mercury Men gun.  Isaiah had watched the Mercury Men trailer and production journals so many times that he wanted his very own ray gun to shoot the "white guys" (the Mercury invaders).  But how could Santa provide a toy that was never made for a series that hadn't even been released yet?  When Isaiah's father shared this story with me, we quickly put together a smaller version of Jack Yaeger's trusted weapon so his parents could place it under the tree.

Just days after Christmas we went a step further.  We arranged with Isaiah's father to have Jack Yaeger himself (actor Curt Wootton) pay a special surprise visit!
