PRODUCTION JOURNAL: ROUGH EDIT
Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:10AM Ever wonder what The Mercury Men would look like IN COLOR, with no visual effects, sound design, or music? Well now you can see the series in a way you typically can't: the rough edit. In this production journal we compare a scene in its rawest form with the finished version. It's a great look behind-the-scenes and it's really fun to watch Jack and Edward duck, dive, and shoot invaders that have yet to be added in :)

What was YOUR favorite movie merchandise as a kid? Beyond action figures, I was always a fan of the Dick Tracy radio watch and the Star Wars collectors glasses of course :)

PRODUCTION JOURNAL: JACK YAEGER
Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2:39AM Today's Mercury Monday post takes a look at daring aerospace engineer Jack Yaeger.
Some of this covers some similar ground as the last production design journal (we filmed this a day before that one), but there's also some new insight into the multiple inspirations for the character.
Got a question about the character? Post it in the comments section or on Facebook and I'm sure Curt will make an appearance to answer them.

For today's Mercury Monday post we've got our first production journal highlighting production design. If you've got a question or area you'd like to see in an upcoming production journal, post it in the comments here or on Facebook.
The production journal even got a GREAT write up from Marc Hustvedt over at Tubefilter.
